Titus Jones
Titus Andronicus Jones was the uncle of Jupiter Jones, co-owner of The Jones Salvage Yard, and Mathilda Jones' husband.[1] He was described as "a man with an enormous mustache". He usually bought materials that were unique and peculiar for "junkyards", and would somehow manage to bargain a considerable profit from the objects. Titus is aware of Jupiter's intelligence and sometimes, plays some tricks with him, such as when he hid Gulliver's trunk for Jupiter to find it himself.[2] Before founding the salvage yard, Titus was a performer in the circus, and played a calliope.[3] He was also described to be very generous and good-hearted, as he had given a lot of junk to the local artists, who repaid him by painting the 1906 San Francisco fire in the back fence of the salvage yard.
